I LOVE talking with kids about writing, reading and inspiring! Whether it’s one class, grade or school – I’m eager to share my passion with your students, teachers, staff and families.

Presentations

I have several programs available that can be tailored to any age group. We can also customize a presentation to your needs.

From Inspiration to Publication (Grades K-5)

How does an idea turn into a book? Students participate and discover the journey to publication. Visual aids include author’s brainstorm, drafts, storyboards, revisions and more!

A Day In the Life (Grades 3-12)

You don’t sit and watch movies and eat ice cream all day? Take a look at an author’s day from brainstorming, research, drafting, editing, critiquing and more!

Iditarod Adventure (Grades K-8)

THREE, TWO, ONE, GO! We’re off to the races! Students learn about all things Iditarod: history, preparation, race day, challenges and all about the adventure of a lifetime!

How to Make Your Story Shine (Grades 3-12)

Are your students working on a creative writing project? This presentation shares insights on how to make their work shine whether it’s fiction, non-fiction, picture book, or novel.

Evening Programs & Family Nights

Bring the entire family and get everyone involved! My crafts and activities will be family fun for all and have even reluctant readers racing to the book shelves.
